DAY ONE: Embark on a journey of a life-time with Cornerstone Travel Group to ALASKA!  This is the ultimate, uncomplicated and relaxing journey to see America’s “final frontier”. We will take our afternoon flight to Seattle and overnight prior to boarding the cruise tomorrow.

DAY TWO: Enjoy an included breakfast at the hotel this morning prior to departing for the Seattle cruise port.  On arrival we will board Holland America’s M.S. Westerdam - A fascinating destination in her own right, Westerdam has won multiple Best Cruise Ship awards and features superb lounges, spas, pools, staterooms entertainment and dining venues.  Bon Voyage in style as we cruise the evening from Seattle through Puget Sound offering the most incredible Pacific Northwest scenery! Everything from ice-capped mountains to remote islands dotted with gigantic Douglas firs to Mount Rainier, hulking behind Seattle’s skyline is in view. As we get closer to the Pacific, we will be reminded that nature is boss as we meander through the San Juan Islands. The islands are a wildlife-rich archipelago and popular vacation spot amongst locals. From the comfort of your cruise, watch for soaring eagles, harbor seals, and both humpback and orca whales.

DAY THREE: Enjoy your day at sea and experience the amazing amenities onboard!

DAY FOUR: We begin our morning with scenic cruising Stephens Passage through Southeast Alaska. Concentrated in and around its waters is a greatest hits of Alaskan wildlife, from humpback whales, the whoosh of their breath loud enough to be heard almost a kilometer away, to giant sea lions. But in this landscape cut by the last ice age, you really have to measure to the mountain peaks for true scale: They climb to summits at 5,000 feet, their slopes covered with forests, meadows that turn sunset into alpenglow, and best of all, by the purple tinge of glaciers that form the passage’s crown. By afternoon, we arrive at Juneau, Alaska’s capital city. Surrounded by water, forest and mountain sights, visitors seeking things to do in Juneau indoors and outdoors can hike a glacier, eat fresh-caught fish on a seaside patio and tour a grand capitol building all in one day. [Holland America also offers many optional Shore Excursions today - see our website for options] â€‹â€‹

DAY FIVE: Scenic cruising Endicott Arm/Dawes Glacier! Endicott Arm is a 30-mile fjord that snakes through the Tracy Arm-Fords Wilderness Area. At the head is the majestic Dawes Glacier. Find a good spot on our spacious decks or get cozy on your verandah and take in the views. Glide past waterfalls that spool like silver ribbons from soaring mountain peaks. As you go deeper into the narrow fjord, the water changes color from gray to jade. The 600-foot-tall, mile-wide Dawes Glacier takes center stage just around a bend. The ship will sidle up to this brilliant blue giant for a chance to witness calving, when ice breaks off and plunges into the sea. Dawes Glacier regularly rumbles with white thunder, and Wildlife sightings are common such as the harbor seals and brown and black bear.

DAY SIX: Welcome to Sitka! A storied past mixed with jaw-dropping scenery sets Sitka, Alaska apart from other ports. Located on Baranof Island surrounded by the Sitka Sound’s icy blue water, it not only boasts lush scenery and captivating wildlife, Sitka offers a unique glimpse into Alaska history. Surrounded by the Tongass National rain forest, nature abounds! [Holland America also offers many optional Shore Excursions today - see our website for options]

DAY SEVEN: After breakfast Welcome to Ketchikan! Alaska’s “First City” of Ketchikan is so named because it’s the first major landfall for most cruisers as they enter the picturesque fjords of the Inside Passage, where the town clings to the banks of the Tongass Narrows, flanked by green forests. Ketchikan has long been an important hub of the salmon-fishing. See the rich cultural sights of Native Alaskan nations like the Tlingit, Haida and Tsimshian where you can see intricately carved totem poles at the Totem Heritage Center and Totem Bight State Park. Historic Creek Street, a boardwalk built over the Ketchikan Creek, is where you can shop for souvenirs, smoked salmon and local art, while exploring gold rush–era tourist attractions like Dolly’s House Museum. [Holland America also offers many optional Shore Excursions today - see our website for options]

DAY EIGHT: Our An evening in Victoria, British Columbia - the charming British-influenced city plunked in the rugged Pacific Northwest. Just wandering the harbor and amazing sites is beautiful, but seeing the famous Butchart Gardens at nights is a highlight for many! One of the largest underground wiring installations in North America helps this wonderland of flowers, rare trees and lighted, winding paths to take on an enchanted aspect. The magnificent Ross Fountain, the centerpiece of these lush gardens, dances with creative lighting effects. [Butchart Gardens optional shore excursion os offered by Holland America.]

DAY NINE: We will disembark our ship this morning and our shuttle will be waiting to transfer us back to the Seattle airport for our afternoon flight home. Space is limited on this incredible journey - we hope you can join us!
