Day 1
After our journey across the Show-Me State, we arrive in Nebraska City, NE, and check into the stunning Lied Lodge at Arbor Day Farm. The farm is a picturesque 260-acre destination in Nebraska City dedicated to nature, conservation, and the legacy of Arbor Day. We will stop by the visitors center with interactive exhibits that explains the importance of trees year-round. Our next stop will be at Leid Lodge - a scenic nature-inspired lodge - staying here isn’t just about luxury and comfort, it’s about supporting the Arbor Day's mission to inspire people to plant, nurture, and celebrate trees, making your visit meaningful as well as enjoyable. Once settled into your beautifully appointed room, take some time to relax and soak in the peaceful surroundings before gathering for a delightful dinner in the lodge’s cozy dining room. As evening unfolds, unwind and connect in the warmth of the main lobby, savoring a cup of rich hot chocolate while live holiday music fills the air, inviting you to relish the magic and charm of the season.  (D)

Day 2
After breakfast, our oday takes us just north to Omaha to celebrate the season in festive style. We begin with a visit to Lauritzen Gardens - Omaha's botanical garden and arboretum on about 100 acres overlooking the Missouri River in Omaha, Nebraska. It’s a peaceful and scenic urban oasis featuring beautifully transformed with holiday décor. Visit the historic Victorian Dodge House located across the Missouri river in Council Bluffs where seasonal traditions bring the past to life. It was the home of Union Army General Grenville M. Dodge, a key figure in Civil War military intelligence, railroad engineering, and western expansion. This afternoon we will stroll through the Old Market, glowing with twinkling lights and holiday charm, and enjoy time to explore its unique shops and atmosphere. This evening, savor a private dinner at Charleston’s Steakhouse before ending the day with a beloved performance of A Christmas Carol at the Omaha Community Playhouse - a perfect finale to a day filled with seasonal magic.
