Myrtle Beach and the Outer Banks are two popular coastal destinations that offer different but equally memorable beach experiences. Myrtle Beach is known for its lively atmosphere, featuring a long stretch of sandy shoreline, a bustling boardwalk, amusement attractions, and plenty of restaurants and shops. North Carolina's historic Outer Banks has a quieter, more natural feel, with wide open beaches, historic lighthouses, sand dunes, and the amazing Wright Brothers memorial.
