Tour Itinerary
Day 1 – Welcome to San Francisco
Your California adventure begins with a flight to San Francisco, where a private motorcoach will take you to your hotel. Tonight, gather with your fellow travelers for a welcome dinner, the perfect start to a journey filled with fine wines, stunning scenery, and West Coast charm. (D)
Day 2 – San Francisco Highlights
After breakfast, set out with your local guide to explore San Francisco’s iconic sights—from Fisherman’s Wharf and Pier 39 to Chinatown, Lombard Street, and the Golden Gate Bridge. Enjoy lunch on the Wharf, then board a ferry to Alcatraz Island for a fascinating tour of its storied past. Return to the city this evening, with time to dine on your own at one of San Francisco’s many incredible restaurants. (B, L)
Day 3 – Muir Woods & Sausalito
After breakfast, cross the Golden Gate Bridge to wander among the towering redwoods of Muir Woods and explore the charming bayside town of Sausalito, with its waterfront views and art galleries. Day 4 – Napa Valley Wine Country
Leave the city behind and head into the rolling vineyards of Napa Valley, home to more than 400 wineries. Begin with a premier tour and tasting at the fairytale-like Castello di Amorosa, sampling reserve wines in an exclusive setting. This afternoon, visit Domaine for its renowned sparkling wines, then enjoy free time to explore nearby wineries or simply soak in Napa’s beauty. (B)
Day 5 – Napa Valley Wine Train
Step aboard the world-famous Napa Valley Wine Train for a six-hour journey through vineyard country. Savor a four-course gourmet meal, enjoy tastings at Charles Krug and V.
