Hello traveling Friends!
Welcome to my Travel Blog page, "Travel With Tod," at Cornerstone Travel Group.
For over 30 years I have been in the travel and tour industry. For 23 of those years, I founded, owned, and operated my own tour company based in St. Louis, Missouri. In January 2024, I decided to retire from full-time travel and spend more time with my family and enjoy a slower pace.
In the past year, I was invited to join the Travel Board here at Cornerstone—a travel co-op that comprises individual and retired travel industry leaders/professionals as well as historians/authors and wellness experts. It was an opportunity too good to pass up—to be involved and collaborate with some of the most dynamic and energetic travel consultants in the region (some I have known and worked with for years and new partners I am proud to unite with).
Being a part of Cornerstone is allowing me to once again share my group travel expertise, experiences, and colleagues/contacts. Everyone at Cornerstone Travel Group is committed to creating great travel options, destinations, and budget-minded itineraries—with the motto of "travelers uniting travelers."

Join me on the Big Sur in late April!
On April 21-25, 2025, I am headed to the Pacific Coast's Big Sur, and you're invited. This trip just has 3 spaces remaining and is an amazing journey to explore Cali's Big Sur and Redwoods. Large motorcoaches are prohibited along the Big Sur Hwy 1, and this journey allows us to experience together this small group journey by caravan.
This is truly a magical and breathtaking place where the Pacific Ocean crashes against rugged cliffs, and the Santa Lucia Mountains rise sharply from the sea. Large motor coaches are prohibited on the Big Sur Highway—and this small group journey is your chance to see one of America’s most iconic coastlines. In addition, we will explore central California's most hidden and protected redwood forest by rail onboard the Redwood Forest Steam Train!

Start Spreading the News - I am headed to NYC and famous boroughs in May 2025!
Join myself and Cornerstone in the Big Apple and explore the amazing boroughs - Manhattan, Brooklyn and Bronx this May. Myself and Cornerstone Board Member, Nancy Crampton love NYC and have hosted thousands of travelers in the Big Apple for years. We know the ins/outs and greatest places to go on and off the beaten path! NYC is always an exciting place to see and we guarantee we will show you the city and it's neighborhoods in an up-close and personal experience.

Oregon and Me... my favorite state...

I am grateful to have traveled around the world visiting over 50 countries and every state - but when someone asks me "what is your favorite state to visit" - my heart always belongs to Oregon!
